HDD based video recorder/editor

Description

Video recording platform. Targeted to the media industry, this system is capable of capturing video and editing it in a short time.

Digitally recording video sequences and editing them is made easy with this equipment. Not being based on a PC, it is designed to be extremely reliable. The ruggedness of the device makes it especially useful when working in the field. Its graphic interface is easily controlled thanks to a touch panel, allowing to edit the shots previously stored on the HDD. The device has multiple audio and video inputs and outputs. The use of DSPs gives the device the ability to do real time effects such as chroma key, zoom and fusions. It supports PAL and NTSC.

The system is powered through removable batteries, increasing its mobility. Thanks to its Ethernet connection, it is possible to download the video cuts to a PC. Besides, it is possible to create a net of several devices and control it using one of them as the master to simultaneously record different video sources.

Probe for remote video monitoring

Description

Card compatible with rack 1U. Remote monitoring of video signal reception through the streaming of the audio/video in H.264/MPEG4/MPEG2 and RTSP. Thanks to the probe, it is possible to receive the video in real time through an IP net.

Probe parameters can be set via web and it has the possibility of throwing alerts in response to previously configured events. The video processing is done in the card, so it is possible to assign alerts to events such as image matching, frozen image, black screen and logo detection. The probe interprets commands through web and is able to drive an IR emitter in order to control a STB (set-top-box).

Room recording and DVD authoring system

Description

This distributed system was designed to store digital recordings of product presentations and marketing and market studies.

The system is controlled through a web application hosted on a server that allows to remotely control the recording of different rooms. In each one of these rooms a custom DVR has to be installed.

Programming the recordings or downloading them to the central server is easily done thanks to the DVR's Ethernet connection. The video is compressed real-time in MPEG4 Full HD. This compression method, together with the high storage capacity (up to 250Gb), makes it possible to store long recordings.

Thanks to the decentralization, the system is able to remotely control the recordings of multiple geographically disperse rooms. The web environment was specifically developed for this application. Besides the managing of the room recordings, it also offers the possibility to create DVDs. In this way, it is possible to give the result to the client with little cost and effort.
